Hi, I’m Kae. #

I’ve been making this website, “Kaeforest”, for over 4 years. Usually, my days are spent at my day job, making music in collaboration with lfp, or painting around whichever city I happen to find myself in.

I’ve made this website to capture my notes and thoughts about life as I’ve grown older, and to share them with others who may be interested. Perhaps partly, it’s been a record of how I’ve changed over the years-my focuses, interests, and a way to memorise what I take to be most important to me.

I’ve never strongly believed in journaling in a digital capacity too much, though I had thought to myself on one night: I frequently dream of these near-apocalyptic worlds where I’m being hunted. These entities would try to capture the things I love-my family, myself, or some other indescribable object which could only hold significance in the deepest part of my consciousness.
